Sequencing & Scheduling

Our algorithm is designed to help companies optimize their job sequencing and scheduling, resulting in minimized overall completion time. Whether it’s a flow shop or job shop production layout, our algorithm takes into account the complexity that arises with an increasing number of jobs and distinct operations to be performed by multiple machines. It offers a tailored solution to identify the best possible production schedule for your operations.”

Data Accusation.

  • we acquire data from our client
  • Then we cleanse the data and extract necessary information which are required for the sequencing and scheduling algorithm.

Classificaion

Operation Classificaiton

It is one of the main process in the production analytics, when have different production facilities, it can be

  • Job Shop
  • Flow Shop
  • or, any other custom layout

At this stage, we classify what are the different process that can be produced in the facility

Machine Classification

Another important process is machine classification, at this stage we classify what are the available machine in the facility with their capability.

  • Rate of production
  • Finish quality
    – Fine
    – Good
    – Best
  • Other customer preference will be coded in the algorithim

Material Classification

Raw material classification will helps us to choose initial machining process. At this stage we classify

  • Based on material
    – Mild Steel
    – Stainless Steel, etc
  • with other customer preferences

Constraint formulation

  • Once all our available resources are classified, then we create a constraint for each individual resources.
  • For example, let say machine 1 (M1) can perform only certain operations then the ability of its operations will be coded as the constraints
  • Constraint formulation will help us to bound any resources to function beyond its capacity.
  • It helps us to create Process to Machine & Machine to Mateiral relations

Sequencing & Scheduling Algorithm

  • A data stream of raw material labelled with its production process is supplied to the algorithm
  • The objective of the algorithm is to predict the best possible job flow which helps us to,
    • Reduce the overall production cost for the individual batch.
    • Reduce the overall make-span time for the batch
    • Reduce the tardiness and idle time of the layout

Cloud Integration

  • Once algorithm is formulated with all the parameters and objective then we integrate this algorithm on the cloud. Which will provided with additional subscription.
